for optimum health. "Beef Complete" is a balanced, nutritionally superior food to be used as a base diet or total
diet. Companion animals will achieve better quality and longevity of life by following a healthy diet plan that begins with
a base diet like HPP "Beef Complete". "Beef Complete" is so complete that supplements are not needed.
Healthy Pet Products is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO
Dog and Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages. Our primary base diet, "Beef Complete,"
is Certified Organic Beef and Midwestern Range Fed Beef that is USDA inspected at the time of slaughter to guarantee being
100% free of antibiotics, hormones and steroids. "Beef Complete" (and "Chicken Complete"
which is coming soon) both have the proper ratio of fresh vegetables and ripened fruits washed clean. It is also fortified
with vitamins and minerals as needed to assure that your animal's full dietary needs are present.
Frozen Food Items/Bones Beef Complete is more than just a play on
words, it is just that, complete. Your dog will do well when only fed this fine product. We feel that a balanced
diet with variety keeps the dogs healthy and interested to see just what great meal you've put in the bowl today! In this
sense, Beef Complete is our base diet with other sources of protein added at various intervals and degrees. HPP offers extras
to be added to their base diet periodically throughout the feeding cycle. A typical diet might have extras added as the main
meal 2 or 3 days per week with the base diet being offered all other days. Raw meaty bones
are an excellent meal for the dogs, too! Exercising the jaw and neck muscles as they gnaw, chew and tear through these
raw foods, eating becomes rewarding to them on physical and mental levels as well as the important nutritional level.

Freeze Dried Products - Freeze-drying is the process of dehydrating
frozen foods under temperature and vacuum. In this process, the product maintains its original size and shape
with a minimum of change. The dried product will be the same size and shape as the original frozen material and will be found
to have excellent stability and convenient reconstitution when placed in water. Freeze-dried products will maintain nutrients,
color, flavor and texture, often indistinguishable from the original product. Unlike conventional dehydration or baking, which
use high temperatures that destroy nutrients, freeze drying does not use high temperature and preserves the nutritional value
of the product. Depending on the product and the packaging environment, freeze-dried foods are shelf-stable between 6 months
to 3 years if stored in a poly-bag container.
Our Freeze Dried products enable you
to continue your top quality raw food base diet even while traveling. Additionally, our other freeze dried products
make phenomenal treats, training aids and show baits.
We
believe in offering a wide variety of healthy treats, bones and chews to our companion animals. All of our treats, bones and
chews are high quality products, mostly dissolvable body parts with no chemicals used to clean or preserve. We also do not
offer products with additives for flavor, extenders, sodium, rawhide, nylon bones or any unhealthy ingredients. Our bones
are made from USDA products, no chemicals used, and slow roasted for extended periods of time to cure only the outside of
the bone to a depth of 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Once the animal eats past this cured outer layer, they are basically eating a raw
bone. This aids in available nutrition, and bones not fully cooked are less likely to have large pieces break off that can
choke or hurt the animal if ingested.
